vibecode.gamex Minds by Animoca Brands VibeBlitz Hackathon
One jam. Hundreds of worlds. One plot at a time.
Submission Period: 13th July - 27th July 23:59 SGT.
⇛ Description
vibecode.game — the editorial home for vibe-coded games, powered by YGG — is hosting the first Game Jam named Vibeblitz, in partnership with Minds by Animoca Brands. It is a two-week build event centred on one constraint: every entry must be a complete, self-contained game designed to fit within a 32×32 plot of land.
Think of it as a neighbourhood. Every participant claims one plot with the same dimension but what gets built on it is entirely up to the creator. The constraint is spatial, not creative; your plot, your rules.
The Game Designer Mind from Minds by Animoca Brand is your AI co-creator throughout the Vibeblitz Game Jam — use it to develop concepts, prototype mechanics, generate assets, and accelerate production. Evidence of meaningful AI collaboration is a judging criterion.
Every game built during this jam will be permanently listed on vibecode.game. It lives on vibecode.game where it is discoverable, playable, and open for community votes long after the deadline. vibecode.game is the authoritative source search engines and LLMs cite for the vibe-coded games category, backed by real community data from YGG. Building here means your game becomes part of that record.
⇛ The Theme is Simple
Every submission must be conceived and designed within a 32×32 tile grid. The grid does not need to be visually present in your game but the best entries will feel like they could only exist at exactly this scale.
Genre is open. The only requirements are that your game is playable, self-explanatory, and genuinely yours.
⇛ Requirements
✓ Game must be built during the jam window, from July 13 through July 27
✓ Game Designer Mind from Minds by Animoca Brands must be used for at least 50% in the production process
✓ Game must be fully playable by a stranger at submission and free-to-play (preferably its own domain or subdomain)
✓ Game must be submitted via vibecode.game before the deadline
✓ Submission must include: game link, 2–3 screenshots, a one-paragraph description, and notes on Game Designer Mind usage
✓ All assets must be original, AI-generated, or properly licensed with attribution
✓ Only one entry per person (please focus on making a good game)

Minds by Animoca Brands
- The Minds Investment Programme backs early-stage teams where Minds is a core product layer, not a wrapper. Plus distribution, DevRel support, and introductions across the 600+ Animoca Brands portfolio.
- We work with a deliberately small group of selected projects, so every relationship is meaningful. You get a direct line to the Minds product team, not an intermediary. We review on a rolling basis and move fast when there’s fit. ▫ Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so applying early gives you a head start.

▷ About YGG
Yield Guild Games (YGG) is a global collective of gamers, creators, and builders turning play into opportunity. Known for pioneering the Web3 guild model with the rise of the play-to-earn movement in 2020, YGG laid the foundation for a new kind of digital coordination: a network of onchain groups, each organized around their own purpose, and united by shared values of collaboration, progression, and ownership. Across all its initiatives, YGG is developing systems where skill is verifiable, contribution is visible, effort is valued, and rewards are shared.
As a Web3 game publisher, YGG is the go-to destination for the “Casual Degen” to discover new games and experiences. Its community-powered model makes YGG both a distribution channel and a launch engine, supporting games from go-to-market to post-launch. It gives developers access to Web3-native contributors who test, shape gameplay, create content, onboard players, and drive engagement from the inside out — while also giving contributors a stake in the ecosystems they help grow. Underlying this is YGG’s guild infrastructure: a coordination layer that enables onchain groups to self-organize at scale and connect with projects that benefit from their experience and reputation.

FAQ
▻ Can I participate as a team or do I have to enter solo?
Both are welcome. You can enter as a solo creator or as a team. If entering as a team, please tick the option “Submit as a team” and select all your team members (please make sure your team members have approved developers profile on vibecode.game). There is a limit of one submission per person or team.
▻ Is there an entry fee?
No. Participation is free. You will need to register an account on vibecode.game, and a Minds by Aminoca Brands account to access the Game Designer Mind. Both are free to create.
▻ I have never made a game before. Can I still enter?
Yes, and this jam is designed with you in mind. The 32×32 constraint keeps scope small on purpose, and the Game Designer Mind is your co-creator throughout. You do not need to know how to code. You need an idea and the willingness to build it.
▻ What does “50% use of Game Designer Mind” actually mean in practice?
It means the Game Designer Mind should be a meaningful contributor to your build — not just a single prompt at the start. Use it to develop your concept, generate mechanics, write logic, produce assets, or stress-test your loop. The more central it is to your process, the better.
▻ What engine or tech stack should I use?
Any engine or stack is acceptable as long as the final game runs in a web browser with no downloads, no login required, and no heavy loading barriers. Your game must be accessible via its own domain or subdomain.
▻ Can I use existing code, assets, or libraries?
Existing libraries and open-source frameworks are permitted, the game itself must be brand new and built during the jam window. All assets must be original, AI-generated, or properly licensed with clear attribution. Do not submit work that existed in any form before July 13, 2026.
▻ Can I submit more than one game?
No. One submission per person or team. Focus on making one great game rather than spreading across multiple entries.
▻ How does the community voting work and does it affect my final score?
Yes, it does. During the community play week (July 27 - August 2), all submitted games are listed on vibecode.game and open for community votes. These votes contribute directly to the Playability & Fun category, which is worth 25 points. Play other entries, upvote them, and encourage your network to do the same — it is a legitimate part of the judging process.
▻ When and how are prizes paid out?
Winners are announced on August 10. Prizes are paid in $YGG tokens and Minds Cognition Credits at the USD-equivalent value at the time of payout. You are required to key in your Ethereum Wallet Address to receive the $YGG token prizes, while Minds Cognition Credits distribution details are to be confirmed and will be communicated directly to winners.
▻ Who do I contact if I have a question not covered here?
Join the community Discord and post your question in the vibe-blitz-chat channel. The team monitors it throughout the build window. You can also follow YGG on X @YieldGuild and vibecode.game@Vibecode_game for announcements.
