Out of Sight:
Out of Sight is a fast-paced, top-down stealth arcade game where you navigate complex 32x32 grid mazes as a block-headed rogue.
With only three hearts and no frontal attacks, you must collect coins while dodging enemy vision cones. Exploit blindspots, track patrol routes, and strike monsters from behind to clear the board and survive the shadows.
Gameplay Mechanics:
- A 32x32 grid on each map - With tile based movement.
- Stealth - Enemies patrol with strict directional lines of sight.
- Directional Combat - To take down enemies player needs to backstab
- Arcade Objectives - To clear the level, player must collect every coin scattered throughout the maze while dodging or hunting the monsters.
Key Features:
- Level system with different playable modes.
- Browser Native Engine - Built on HTML5 Canvas (ensuring lightweight).
- Retro Feel - 8bit art + tense dungeon environments.
- Punishing but Fair Loop: Fast respawns and strict, consistent rules
Tools Used (Vibe Coded):

What Makes “Out of Sight” Stand Out:
- Aggressive Stealth: Unlike traditional stealth games where your only option is to cower in a locker, here you are the hunter.
- Arcade-Puzzle Fusion: It flawlessly blends the frantic, high-score coin-chasing of classic arcade games with the methodical, tactical route-planning of a modern puzzle game.
- Authentic Indie Identity: The game has a distinct, handcrafted fingerprint. Vibe-coded entirely from scratch by me (a1ivebatman), it proves you don’t need a massive, bloated studio engine to build a genuinely addictive and stylish gameplay loop.
